This Privacy Policy applies to smartcreditai.com and the SmartCredit AI software service.

The Business Funding Accelerator at smartcreditai.com/funding is a separate service, offered by a separate entity under its own agreements. This Privacy Policy governs the software service only. It does not cover the funding program.

We collect:

• Account data: your name, email address, and a hashed version of your password.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Credit report files you upload and the data inside them. This can include your Social Security number, date of birth, addresses, account numbers, and tradeline history.
• Score data you choose to track in the service.
• Usage and log data: for example device and browser information, pages viewed, and actions taken in the service.

We use your information to:

• Provide the service: parse your reports, surface potentially disputable items, and generate the letters you approve.
• Bill your subscription and process payments.
• Provide support.
• Send transactional email and deadline alerts.
• Protect the service against fraud and abuse and keep it secure.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To provide the service, report content is processed by our AI infrastructure providers. This processing is done solely to provide the service to you, and providers are bound by contract to use your data only for that purpose.

We rely on service providers in the following categories, each for the stated purpose:

• Cloud hosting: run and store the service.
• Payment processing: bill your subscription.
• Transactional email: send account and deadline messages.
• Postal mail fulfillment: mail letters when you use dashboard mailing.
• Network security and content delivery: protect and deliver the service.
• AI infrastructure: process report content to provide the service.

These providers are bound by contract to use your data only to provide services to us. We list categories rather than vendor names so this page stays stable as vendors change.

We encrypt data in transit using HTTPS and HSTS. The most sensitive fields, such as Social Security numbers and account numbers, are additionally encrypted at the field level at rest. We apply access controls, and we maintain a written information security program aligned with the FTC Safeguards Rule. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@smartcreditai.com. We will confirm your request and delete your data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention duties. Billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.

You may request access to your data, correction of it, deletion of it, or a copy of it in a portable form. To make a request, email support@smartcreditai.com. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights, and we honor state-specific rights where they apply. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app.
