Terms of Service

SmartCredit AI is do-it-yourself credit software. You upload your credit reports, review what may be disputable, and generate and send your own statute-backed dispute letters.

We are not a credit repair organization, a law firm, a credit counselor, or a financial advisor. We do not act on your behalf with any credit bureau, furnisher, or creditor. You perform every action. The software provides tools and education so that you can exercise rights you already hold under federal and state law.

The Business Funding Accelerator offered at smartcreditai.com/funding is a separate service, offered by a separate entity under its own agreements. These Terms and our Privacy Policy govern the software service only. They do not cover the funding program.

To use the service you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. One account per person. Do not share your account or let anyone else use it.

The service is $49 per month, billed month to month.

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial. Your paid subscription begins, and billing starts, when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.

You can cancel anytime in your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your access continues until then. There is no setup fee, no termination fee, and no lock-in.

Fees are billed in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If we change the price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, and the new price applies on your next billing cycle.

You agree to provide truthful information. You may use the service only to dispute information you believe in good faith is inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, or obsolete.

You may not use the service to dispute information you know to be accurate and timely. You may not create or use credit privacy numbers, credit profile numbers, synthetic identities, or any substitute for your true Social Security number. You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose, and you may not scrape, resell, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the service.

The drafting assistance in the service selects from statute-grounded dispute strategies. It cannot fabricate legal text. Every output is a draft that you review, approve, and send yourself.

Nothing in the service is legal advice. We do not guarantee any particular outcome. Results depend on what is actually in your credit file and on the facts of your situation. Accurate, timely negative information generally cannot be removed, by anyone.

The service offers optional USPS mailing from your dashboard. When you choose to mail a letter this way, the postage and mail fee is shown before you click Mail, and it is charged per piece.

You own your credit reports and the data you upload. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service for you, for example to store, process, and display your data and to generate your letters. We own the software, the brand, and all related intellectual property. Nothing here transfers ownership of your data to us or of our software to you.

Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to post honest reviews or share your honest opinion about the service, in any forum. This right is protected by the Consumer Review Fairness Act, 15 U.S.C. § 45b.

You can cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, in particular Section 4. On termination, you can request export or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant any particular outcome, any specific behavior by a credit bureau or furnisher, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give notice of material changes by email or in the app. Your continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
